Game Week 9

The weekends matches were kind to the mighty Arsenal with a traditional one -nil victory for the Gunners with Chelsea, Manchester City and Liverpool all losing. Are the wheels falling off for Arne Slot, his expensively assembled squad have now lost four in a row. Bournemouth and Sunderland in second and fourth spot is not something anyone would have predicted at the start of the season. The bottom three in the league all lost which means a gap has opened up between them and the team in 17th place – is it too early in the season to mark Forest, West Ham and Wolves as doomed?
The Autize league continues to outperform the overall league with an average score for the league this week of 50 points compared to an overall average of 46 points for the entire competition. No scores this week to trouble the all time leader board or conversely the lowest ever points scored list.

In the league Owen, who top scored this week, is closing in on Tony in first spot, cutting his lead from 18 points in GW8 to just 10 points in GW9. Those two seem to be establishing clear blue water between themselves and the rest of the league. The lower half of the table has 25 points separating fifth to ninth spot, the Super Bantams are already facing a big gap to the next team above them in the league, however one good week could change all that.
