Course Duration

1 Day – training can be delivered either at your place of work, our offices or a suitable 3rd party venue.

Course Objectives

Participants will learn how to assign Enterprise Resources to their projects and to assess resource workloads and where appropriate alter their schedule to resolve overload situations. They will also learn how to update their schedule, compare progress against the baseline and the strategies to employ when project deadlines are in jeopardy. The final part of the course focuses on comparing what happened with what was planned to happen, identifying and understanding causes of variances and how lessons learned can be applied to future projects.

Pre-Requisites

Ideally participants will have attended our Microsoft Office Project 2003 Professional Essentials course and have had some practical experience of using it to create project plans in the workplace.
